Text It!, a weekly display of community messages painted by artist Sarah McCann on the Tinges Commons Kiosk facing 33rd Street. Throughout the duration of the show participants are invited to submit their own ideas for messages to be painted on the signboard via text message and hand-written form. ANYONE can suggest something and every Saturday the sign board will be painted with different words, slogans and phrases suggested by artists, community members, youth, anyone that lives, works or passes through or by the space. If your suggestion is selected you will be invited to help paint! The weekly signs will be documented and presented in a scrap book at community events as they happen in Tinges Commons and be uploaded to a project site online.
